STANDARD TERMS for Lamb on the Spit

  • All prices quoted exclude delivery/collection costs
  • We are based in Centurion and operate in a radius of approximately 40km
  • We deliver/collect at a rate of R3.50/km (AA Rates)
  • A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of R1000.00 as well as a completed Booking Form is required to secure the date for an event, no tentative bookings can be accepted
  • Payment of the non-refundable deposit of R1000.00 confirms the acceptance of the Standard Terms
  • The outstanding balance is payable strictly before delivery/date of the event
  • Final number of guests and selections (where applicable) to be confirmed in writing 7 business days prior to the event
  • The number of guests confirmed will be invoiced and catered for
  • Certain ingredients are seasonal and subject to availability and will be replaced by a suitable alternative
  • Quotations are valid for 30 days
  • EFT payment is preferred, regrettably no cheques
  • Quotes are based on current raw material costs and are subject to change without prior notice
  • A refundable breakage deposit of R500.00 is payable on all rented goods
  • All broken/missing items will be charged for at replacement cost
  • The refundable breakage deposit will be refunded via EFT once all goods are received in full and in good order
  • The meal will be served at the confirmed serving time, no later, to ensure quality
  • We supply a food service table, black tablecloth, cutlery, crockery, salt & pepper, balsamic vinegar & olive oil, paper serviettes, chafing dishes, serving utensils and a chef for the preparation, carving and serving of the meal  
  • Our team will arrive 4 hours prior to serving time, please ensure that someone is at the venue on arrival
  • Please ensure easy access for our vehicle to the operating area 
  • Please clean and prepare the operating area prior to our arrival
  • Our spitbraai equipment operates on gas & electricity, there is no smoke and no mess but requires a covered, wind free area with access to a power supply
  • The carved lamb, baby potatoes & onions & corn on the cob will be served directly from the spitbraai  
  • Please supply dishes for the leftovers
  • All equipment will be cleared away immediately after service
